"Final Fantasy III" (最终幻想3) is a classic role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix. The game takes place in a fantasy world called the "Crystal Continent." Players will assume the roles of a group of young adventurers who are chosen to save the world from evil forces. They need to explore various locations, interact with different characters, and complete various quests and battles to advance the story.

Party Composition Strategy

In the game, players will face multiple job choices, which are meaningful because certain bosses can only be defeated by specific job attacks. Therefore, players need to form a team with a combination of various jobs, rather than using the same team from the beginning to the end.

1. After defeating the boss in the Sealed Cave:

Recommended composition: Warrior (physical attack), White Mage (healer), Black Mage (magic attack), Thief (a job that needs to be trained to 99 proficiency. It can perform up to 32 consecutive hits, and its physical attack is considerable. Additionally, its skills like stealing, opening doors, and escaping are very useful).

Not recommended job: Red Mage (low MP value and low magic effect).

2. After defeating the boss in the Cave of Flames:

Recommended composition: Warrior evolving into Knight (can be changed or not. Knights can equip advanced equipment, but they are transitional jobs), White Mage (remains the same), Monk (a job that can be trained to 99 proficiency in the mid-game with very strong attack power and doesn't consume MP. It's also the best choice for leveling up in the later stages. However, its special skills have strong randomness and are not suitable for boss battles), Thief (continue to train).

Not recommended job: Scholar (throwing a 2x damage is indeed very powerful, but it costs a lot of money. The skill of finding the enemy's weakness is also not very practical).

3. After the Water Crystal Temple:

Recommended composition: Knight evolving into Mystic Knight (must evolve, although the Mystic Knights don't have good equipment in the early stages, they need to be trained from now on for later Darkmoon Caverns), White Mage evolving into Bard (Bards are controversial jobs, but they are the strongest support roles in FF3! Using different harps can produce different abilities. For example, the abilities of Destructive Song, Protective Song, and Healing Song are all proportional to the character's HP value or other numerical values. For example, the destructive song may only deal double-digit damage to small monsters, but when facing a boss, it can deal 5000 damage in one hit), Monk (remains the same), Geomancer (remains the same), and Dragoon (must evolve, long-term training. With a Dragoon, you can easily defeat all unidentified flying objects, including Bahamut).

Not recommended jobs: Illusionist (just a transitional job for Magus, no need to evolve), Viking (good at attacking sea monsters, but average in other aspects).

4. Ultimate job:

Recommended composition: Ninja or Mystic Knight (their attack power is similar, but the Ninja's throwing ability is terrifying. If you have time to increase proficiency, it is recommended to evolve into a Ninja), Magus or Bard, Geomancer, and Dragoon or Onion Knight (if you have enough time to level up to LV99, then nothing can compare to the Onion Knight: all attributes are 99, it can use both black and white magic, and it can equip all equipment. It's a versatile job. But if you don't use cheats, I believe few people have the patience to level up to LV99, so Dragoon is also a good choice).

【How to Train Proficiency】

In the game, proficiency is closely related to the player's attack power. As proficiency increases, the HIT count of normal attacks will also increase, and attack power will also rise. This also applies to magic-related jobs. For players who don't know how to increase proficiency, they can refer to the detailed methods brought by the editor.

Regardless of the job, choosing the "Defend" command 5 times in battle will increase proficiency by 1 point after the battle. You can repeatedly train proficiency by finding a weak enemy.

Note: Only 1 point of proficiency can be increased in one battle.

Effect of proficiency:

Increased attack power is the most obvious effect of increasing proficiency. For magic jobs, the healing effect of White Mages and the magic power of Black Mages will also increase. In addition, when changing jobs, high proficiency jobs will not experience adaptation issues (indicated by a downward arrow symbol on the character's icon, which means that all abilities are reduced. After several battles, the abilities will return to normal).

Proficiency is crucial, so some early jobs may be much stronger than newly introduced jobs due to high proficiency. When changing to a new job with low proficiency, you need to spend time to train. The most important thing is that proficiency improvement is not determined by enemy strength or current abilities, but entirely by the number of actions taken. However, leveling up requires quickly defeating enemies, which conflicts with proficiency training.

【Leveling Up Tips】

Levels are crucial in the game. Many job changes require reaching a certain level as a prerequisite. Moreover, once the player's level increases, bosses can be easily defeated, which is very useful for players who want to complete the game quickly. Below are leveling up methods brought by the editor.

1. Level up in the Small Bahamut Cave. It provides high experience and is fast.

2. By the time you reach the Small Bahamut Cave, you should have almost all the available jobs. It is best to have two good Darkmoon Swords.

3. Our goal is to reach 9999 HP, so we need the Monk and Mystic Knight jobs to switch back and forth.

4. On the second floor, each battle gives 22,800 experience. Have one person become a Mystic Knight and let the others die or petrify. Depending on the amount of experience, use the Mystic Knight's Darkmoon Sword to fight monsters. When the leveling up experience is less than 22,800, switch to the Monk, fight once to level up, and then switch back to the Mystic Knight. Repeat this process and always pay attention to the leveling up experience.

This method is only for players who find purely leveling up with Monk too boring, as they have to attack one by one and perform three actions every battle, which is troublesome and not efficient. Even manual players strive for speed. As for the issue of the Mystic Knight losing HP, it is said to use a Vampire Sword for normal attacks, but that's no different from being unarmed and attacking one by one! My method is to directly buy 99 advanced recovery potions with money. At this point, do you care about the cost of the medicine? Moreover, you have earned much more than that small medical fee.

At the beginning of the game, players start as an Onion Knight (changed to Freelancer in the remake) and can obtain more jobs as the story progresses. Players can freely switch between jobs. After a certain adjustment period, abilities will be limited, but they will return to normal after a few battles. The ultimate fun of the game lies in the extreme gameplay of various job combinations.
